Welcome to the Department of Police Papua New Guinea

• Assist in the development of police policy and its implementation in planning police force development and the use of the police force
• Provide investigatory, research, executive, administrative, financial management and other services to the police force in the discharge of its functions under Constitutional Laws and Acts of Parliament
• Provide services to standing or ad hoc organisations relating to the functions of the Department
